Finance Operations Analyst

The role will primarily focus on **Cash Management Services** and **Financial Suspense Functions (FSS)** , supporting daily, monthly, and quarterly financial operations. The position requires strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and experience in cash flow management, reconciliations, and financial reporting. **Key Responsibilities** **Cash Management** + Perform daily and monthly payment operations. + Obtain, monitor, and analyze daily/monthly cash balances and cash flows. + Ensure accurate recording and posting of journal entries related to cash transactions for all entities. + Journalize intercompany transfers and analyze new financial data. + Monitor and reconcile account balances on a daily, monthly, and quarterly basis. + Ensure all bank BAI transmission files are received daily and exported to subledgers. **Financial Suspense Functions (FSS)** + Monitor and manage the FSS mailbox daily. + Run NSF (Non-Sufficient Funds) reports daily and provide necessary copies to the FOSS team. + Provide regular updates on unresolved NSF cases. + Manage FSS file tabs, including: + Month-End and Quarter-End reconciliations. + Balancing and correcting journals. + Supporting quarterly audits. + Copying all journals and related documentation to shared drives for use by other Financial Services departments. **Qualifications & Skills** + Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field. + 3–5 years of relevant experience in Cash Management, Banking Operations, or Financial Accounting (experience level can be adjusted based on hiring need). + Strong knowledge of journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting. + Hands-on experience with banking transmission files (BAI) and subledger postings. + Proficiency in MS Excel and other financial systems/tools. + Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. + Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment. + High attention to detail and accuracy + Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. + Strong communication skills to interact with stakeholders across finance and operations. + Self-driven, proactive, and able to work with minimal supervision. **Requirements** + Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check and drug test (THC included), background check may potentially include employment and education verification + Must pass an internet speed test (download equal to or greater than 25, upload equal to or greater than 5, Ping ms equal to or less than 175)    + Must have the ability to connect with an ethernet cable to a modem/router    + Live in one of the following states: AL, AR, AZ, CO, DE, FL, GA, ID, IN, IA, KS, KY, LA, ME, MI, MS, MO, NE, NV, NH, NJ, NM, NC, ND, OH, OK, PA, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VT, VA, WA, WV, WI, WY   We are currently **NOT** hiring in the following geographies:   + States: AK, CA, CT, HI, MA, IL, MT & NY  Metro Areas: MN – Minneapolis, IL – Chicago, NY – New York City, OR - Portland, MD - Montgomery County, WA - Seattle, Washington, DC, CO – Denver, CO **Benefits** **:** + Full Time employment + Career Growth + Full Benefits and 401k Options + Great Work Environment Pay Transparency Laws in some locations require disclosure of compensation and/or benefits-related information.
