Finance Operations Advisor - Commercial
To execute the administrative tasks in support of the Commercial Business Teams. Ensure quality data is inputted into systems and appropriate checks are used to confirm information is loaded correctly. Adhere to the relevant business timelines and Service Level Agreements. Communicate effectively with the Business Teams Stakeholders to uphold standardisation of information and adherence to critical paths.

Accountabilities:

Provide clear, timely and consistent service to all Business Teams

Update various stakeholders

Work to improve the quality of information being shared

Deal with queries from all stakeholders across Business Teams

Identify personal and professional opportunities for development

Take responsibility for building positive working relationships with all stakeholders

Play a part in building an environment where best practice is shared

Operational

Consistent, robust and auditable retention of required documentation

Accurate production of information enabling efficient entry into systems

Consistent delivery to Service Level Agreements and compliance to agreed processes

Promotes sharing knowledge and best practise to their colleagues and peer

Own incoming queries through to resolution including root cause analysis and liaising with relevant stakeholders to identify solution

Ensure issues are escalated in a timely manner and improvement opportunities communicated to the relevant stakeholder(s)

Sales & Profit

Right first time inputs to avoid rework and cost

Ensure promotions funding is loaded correctly into the systems and raise invoices aligned to critical path timelines

About you

Knowledge

Commercial & financial understanding – to understand the impact of the information they are providing or given; and therefore can challenge or escalate as appropriate

Awareness of legal & regulatory requirements relating to Trading (GSCOP)

Knowledge of data flows and integration into all downstream systems, such as Storeline, Episys, Morrisons Ordering and Online – ensuring all data keyed is not detrimental to stores

Understanding of Oracle Retail Merchandising Systems, Retail Price Management Systems, Range Reset App, My Product Portal and Mainframe to ensure consistency and best practice

Understanding of the Promotional Planning Tool & the Supplier Portal
