Finance Officer- Accounts Payables

What will I be doing?

\n\nPreparing and processing supplier payments in Peoplesoft System, including commission invoices ensuring they all are correctly coded\nAttaching the correct documentation to invoices and reconciling purchase orders to invoices received\nChecking that PO’s have been good received in Birch Street system before processing the invoices\nKeeping record of all Manual PO’s handed out\nMaking manual payments BACS & CHAPS\nUpdating PO log and Manual Payments log\nPreparing monthly supplier statement reconciliations\nDealing with supplier queries\nPreparing AP monthly accruals and present to Finance Manager for checking\nEnsuring that all accounts payable activities comply with relevant financial policies and procedures\nInvestigating and resolving outstanding creditor items\nSupporting the Team on the daily run of the office\nTo carry out additional tasks as instructed by the Finance Manager and /or Cluster Finance Director\n\n

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

\n\nPrevious Accounts/Finance experience in a high volume department, preferably within a hotel environment\nExperience with the PeopleSoft system\n\n
