In this position, you plan, lead, and manage the Accounting and Controlling on site. You are responsible for the profit and loss account and financial statements, prepare operational results and support local management. In addition, you are responsible for the monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and HGB standards.
Tasks
Coordination and management of profit planning, sales forecasts, budgets, accounts payable and accounts receivable, costs and savings opportunities as well as capital investmentsPreparation of reports on operating results for all management levels, considering Group policies and accounting proceduresPrecious metal controlling and production controllingCost accounting, including standard costs and production order variance analysisCooperation with external and internal auditorsClose cooperation with local management and the US financial organizationSupport of management and sales & marketing in all financial mattersCoordination, monitoring and regular updates regarding the achievement of the operational annual planning targets and the operational key figuresPreparation of financial statements in accordance with HGB and US-GAAPActive participation in operational warehouse management including cycle counting, inventories and stock reduction measures.Qualifications
Degree in economics with a focus on finance/controlling or comparable qualification10+ of professional experience in finance and accountingPeople management experienceFamiliar with the accounting standards according to HGB and US-GAAPFamiliar with manual and automated accounting systems and very good analytical skillsKnowledge of SAP (FI/CO) and MS OfficeExperience with Sarbanes Oxley ComplianceTeam player, solution-oriented and a structured approach to problemsVery good communication skillsVery good knowledge of German and English
