Description We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations of our rapidly growing organic dog food distribution company. This role offers the opportunity to play a pivotal part in guiding our financial strategy and ensuring the stability and growth of the organization. Based in Boca Raton, Florida, the Finance Manager will collaborate closely with executive leadership to drive informed decision-making and operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
• Manage daily cash flow operations, including overseeing accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.
• Prepare and analyze comprehensive financial reports, such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to support strategic business decisions.
• Develop, implement, and monitor budgets and financial forecasts to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Provide actionable financial insights and collaborate with executives to shape long-term strategic plans.
• Supervise inventory management processes, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of inventory transactions.
• Oversee tax filings and compliance activities to meet regulatory requirements.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with banking institutions and financial service providers.
• Establish and enforce financial policies, procedures, and controls to uphold best practices and regulatory compliance.
• Identify and lead process improvement initiatives to optimize financial reporting and operational efficiency.
• Recruit, train, and manage finance team members to foster high performance and growth. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; advanced qualifications such as CPA or MBA are preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management roles, with a strong focus on cash flow management, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Proven ability to analyze complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated track record of successfully managing and leading finance teams.
• Industry experience in retail or consumer packaged goods is highly advantageous.
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced knowledge of Excel is required.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented approach to financial operations.
