**Overview**
We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented **Finance Manager** to join our team at PXP Studios – Malaysia. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial health of our content production operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to manage day-to-day financial operations, provide strategic insights, and support decision-making that drives business performance and profitability.
**Responsibilities**
**1. Financial Operations**
+ Monitor financial and non-financial performance of individual projects
+ Prepare and maintain Work In Progress (WIP) reports and accounting schedules (e.g., WIP, Accrued Revenue)
+ Coordinate and facilitate WIP sessions with key stakeholders
+ Review and ensure accuracy of client quotations
+ Liaise with the billing hub and Shared Service Center to ensure timely billing and collections
+ Ensure revenue recognition is in line with company policies and accounting standards
**2. Budgeting and Forecasting**
+ Partner with Studio Lead, Production Leads, and Project Managers to develop revenue, expense, and cash flow forecasts
+ Monitor and track budget performance throughout the year
+ Submit budget and forecast data accurately into relevant financial systems
**3. Financial Reporting & Compliance**
+ Prepare monthly financial reports in line with Groupe requirements
+ Complete regional and global reporting templates
+ Perform month-end closing activities and provide variance analysis and performance commentary
+ Recommend corrective actions to improve financial performance where needed
+ Ensure compliance with internal policies and external accounting standards
+ Support internal, external, and client audits as needed
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
+ Minimum 5 years of relevant managerial experience
+ Strong financial and accounting background
+ Experience in advertising or content production services is an added advantage
+ Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
+ Proficiency in financial modeling and Microsoft Excel
+ Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus
+ Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
