Finance Manager Job ID 223165 Posted 10-Jun-2025 Service line GWS Segment Role type Full-time Areas of Interest Accounting/Finance Location(s) Stockholm - Stockholms lan - Sweden **About the role** As a CBRE Finance Manager you will provide financial management and governance for one of our client accounts, ensuring appropriate and adequate financial management and controls to meet all client and CBRE requirements. As a key member of the finance team, you will actively drive the region to ensure it meets the targets set through exceptional client and CBRE operational team engagement and service. Specific areas of focus will include financial reporting (both client and internal), annual planning, quarterly reforecasting, driving added-value financial opportunities and risk mitigation, and ongoing analysis as required. This role requires exceptional client-facing and operational stakeholder engagement skills, whilst balancing the demands of ongoing corporate responsibilities. Working within the financial contractual requirements and meeting all deadlines will be a key deliverable of the role. **What you´ll do:** **Client Management** + Develop high quality and effective client relationships in the region. + Build excellent working relationships with account management and key client’s members and be a business partner for both. + Tightly manage contract governance, demonstrating an in-depth knowledge of the terms and conditions of the contract to ensure that all cost elements are appropriately accounted for. + Assist with client team requests in a timely and accurate manner. + Positively respond to both our internal and external customers (often in a matrix environment) through effective communication and personal accessibility and credibility. + Support regional operational teams in weekly / monthly client meetings and presentations. + Deliver the region’s client budget and regular forecasts, working closely with operations teams to ensure full understanding and high degree of accuracy. **Financial Reporting** + Responsible for the preparation of all monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, both from a client and CBRE perspective. + Responsible for the preparation of all supplementary financial analysis and commentary, including the preparation of detailed balance sheet reconciliations. + Ownership of all financial transaction postings, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of all client invoices and month end accruals. + Ownership of the region’s risks & opportunities, keeping finance and operational teams fully appraised of key items on a regular basis. + Provide ad-hoc support and financial analysis as required. + Ensure delivery of region’s corporate budget/targets. **Contract and Finance Management** + Continually review, maintain, and improve cash-flow, margins, and reporting. + Ensure timely invoicing of client and management of AR through PowerBI, ensuring it accurately reflects the region’s AR position. Drive actions to ensure any overdue debt is settled by the client promptly. + Identify and help drive the implementation of savings opportunities to ensure client is achieving best value for money. + Review client P&L results and ensure consistency with CBRE reporting. + Active management of overheads whilst seeking areas for efficiencies and savings. + Attend and present at monthly client and internal financial review meetings as required. + Constantly improve quality, service, and efficiency within the region. + Communicate regularly with the operations team to ensure they are fully informed of operational objectives and achievements, and operational performance feeds back into the financial results. + Support in any client related audits. **Finance Processes, Procedures and Reporting** + Ensure company policies and procedures are adhered to consistently throughout the contract. + Ensure relevant financial policies and procedures for the delivery of our contractual arrangements with the client are in place and effectively communicated to the client. + Manage the integrity of data in CBRE GWS systems. + Manage all compliance through the required procedures and processes. + Develop an understanding of how to best utilise GWS system-generated reporting capabilities. **Finance Planning** + Assist the finance and operations teams to deliver all CBRE and client related annual planning. This will include the preparation of all presentational material and in gaining the relevant internal and client approvals. **Financial Governance** + Ensure CBRE and statutory obligations are met for reporting and governance purposes. + Responsible for ensuring the integrity of the balance sheet and balance sheet commentary for the region. + Drive any GWS transformation and client initiatives, working closely with other functions to ensure full alignment of deliverables and results. **People Management** + Lead, motivate and develop the Sweden Finance Team. + Carry out structured appraisals and ensure personal development plans are in place and include succession plans. + Empower team members to take responsibility and accountability. + Supervise and review performance of individuals in the team. **What you´ll need:** **Education** + Hold a relevant educational qualification **Skills** + Highly computer literate + Ability to combine strategic vision with hands-on, pragmatic delivery. + IT Skills to achieve key tasks and give the business a sound reporting base. + Superior written and verbal communication skills with strong oral presentation skills + Swedish and English speaking + Capable of working in a matrix environment **Experience** + Worked in a complex multinational company with hands on experience of managing teams across countries + Track record of achieving results through others. + Proven commercial acumen and ability to contribute to decision-making. + Management skills to maximise the performance of staff working directly for them and others + Experience of Iscala and PeopleSoft **Aptitude** + Ability to shape, lead and influence other senior managers + Well developed, effective communication skills enabling the individual to work with board members, clients, suppliers, and staff at all levels and of all abilities + Self-motivated and ambitious + Results/ task orientated, with attention to detail and accuracy + Excellent time management and organisational skills + Commitment to continuous improvement + Ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently + Committed to customer service delivery + Able to make sound decisions when needed and take accountability for outcomes + Calm manner, able to work under pressure and with changing demands and priorities + Confidential and discrete approach CBRE, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer (Women/Minorities/Persons with Disabilities/US Veterans)
