What You'll Do:
As a Finance Manager, you'll be at the forefront of our innovation, providing strategic support to Mexico business and the Lubrizol Latino America Executive Leadership with financial planning, analysis and reporting. You'll collaborate with a diverse group of passionate individuals to deliver sustainable solutions to advance mobility, improve wellbeing and enhance modern life. You will be part of LA's senior finance leadership team and generate maximization of resources working as ONE Region. You will utilize quantitative and qualitative analysis of all operational aspects of the company to evaluate progress toward achieving goals and to map out future goals, opportunities, and challenges. You will review economic and business trends, past performances, etc. and anticipate obstacles and potential issues in forecasting the Mexico subsidiary’s performance.
What We're Looking For:
Develop and execute financial strategies and plans to support the Lubrizol Mexico, connected with organization's goals and objectives. Serve as business partner to Mexico Leadership team and close colaboration with F,P& A group. Provide strategic financial leadership and guidance to commercial & executive management team. Position will be part of Mexico Senior Leadership. Analyze, research and summarize financial data and provide insights and recommendations to improve profitability and efficiency. Consolidate financial information for local Town Halls and executive leadership ad-hoc. Ensure internal controls are in place and maintained in alignment with US GAAP standards. Ensure compliance with internal controls and other financial regulations and standards. Ensure timely and accurate financial statements submission. Lead the Annual External Audit process. Identify and evaluate business opportunities, partnerships, and investments through the use and development of financial models to support growth and expansion. Support special projects, such as Mergers, Acquisitions, Divestitures, Complexity reduction, Margin Enrichment, Product Line Optimization, Working Capital, and Cash Conversion Cycle optimization. Benchmark performance vs. peer companies and competitors, providing insightful analysis. Collaborate with regional/corporate finance function and internal stakeholders to optimize financial processes and systems, maintaining consistency and accuracy in reporting and forecasting.
Skills That Make a Difference:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Language skills: English advanced (verbal and writen), Portuguese is a plus. Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance/accounting. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, accounting, and modelling skills. Demonstrated strategic thinking and decision-making abilities Strong knowledge of financial management principles, practices, and regulations Advanced proficiency in financial software and systems like Business Intelligence tools (for example BOBJ, Power BI, MSCopilot) and knowledge of Excel . Advanced proficiency in SAP or similar ERP. Motivated team player with strong written and verbal communication skills. Well-organized and flexible to handle conflicting requirements and tight deadlines in a rapidly changing environment. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
