Finance Manager, Customer Experience

When you join us, you’ll be able to contribute financial expertise that impacts all areas of our company, including planning, manufacturing, marketing and global distribution. **In this position...** + This position takes lead with supporting the Customer Experience skill team in all initiatives to deliver owner and user experiences with honesty and expertise, manages the close and monthly forecast, and provides key strategic advice to operating partners. + The position will negotiate Business Plan commitments with functional skill teams and market owners to ensure balanced approaches to experiences and considering all metrics to deliver on the spending commitments. + The position helps develop business cases to understand the enterprise value of Customer Experience programs. **What you'll do...** + Manage a 12-person global team (with six direct reports), across Brazil, India, and the United States + Manage relationships with CX operating leads across all experiences and regions + Lead monthly forecasting and trend analysis to identify profit risks and opportunities + Monitor and assess performance and key metrics for experiences and deliverables to drive tangible business results + Review Customer Loyalty Program (CLP), FordPass Rewards, and Remote Experience Program Reserves and ensure reserve adequacy tests are administered and adherence to both Rules of the Road and Finance Manuals + Manage timeline and deliverables of Forward Year Business Plan + Present to Global Finance and Operating Senior Leadership on CX Financials and the state of the business + Support Executable Experiences for the relevant operating leads to ensure investment in work is consistent with forecast and actual reporting + Coordinate CX CaR reporting with Operating team + Assume the lead in control process reviews and corporate deliverables (e.g. MCRP, BCP, CaR, AFR) + Coaching members in the team and share his/her prior work experience with team members + Work closely with operating teams to identify and execute efficiency or cost tasks; support operating team for spending freeze or enhanced spending controls + Manage and report Global CX headcount + Issue resolution for all items with skill teams, markets, and global skill teams; work cross-functionally with Marketing, Warranty, FCSD, Quality to resolve customer issues **You'll have...** + Bachelor’s degree or advanced finance degree + Supervisory experience preferable to support LL6s and GSRs on the team + Strong understanding of internal control and accounting policies to ensure a robust control environment + Solid understanding of financial processes across multiple skill teams + Credibility and presence to deal directly with Skill Team Controllers + Strong mediation skills, to obtain cross functional alignment for off-standard agreements to unblock stalled initiatives + Strong critical thinking skills, with ability to follow a ‘how might we’ path to resolving issues + Business acumen + Able to explain finance models, value frameworks and capital allocation practices in simple language and with clear visuals for a broad audience + A team player and bring your own self to the team **Even better, you may have...** + MBA preferred You may not check every box, or your experience may look a little different from what we've outlined, but if you think you can bring value to Ford Motor Company, we encourage you to apply!
