Location: Bangkok, Thailand

A new opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and strategic Finance Lead to join our growing MTU business in Rolls-Royce Thailand.

As the Finance Lead for Rolls-Royce Power Systems Thailand (mtu Business), you will be a key partner to the Country Manager and Regional Finance team, leading financial planning, forecasting, reporting, compliance, and commercial decision-making for the local business. This role will play a critical part in driving financial excellence and supporting sustainable business growth in Thailand.

Rolls-Royce Power Systems is headquartered in Friedrichshafen in southern Germany and employs around 9,000 people. The product portfolio includes mtu-brand high-speed engines and propulsion systems for ships, power generation, heavy land, rail and defense vehicles and for the oil and gas industry as well as diesel and gas systems and battery containers for mission critical, standby and continuous power, combined generation of heat and power, and microgrids.

Key Accountabilities

Lead all financial operations of Rolls-Royce Power Systems in Thailand, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and monthly closing activities.Act as Finance Business Partner to the Country Manager, providing strategic insights, financial analysis, and support for key business decisions.Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements, internal controls, and global Rolls-Royce financial policies.Prepare and present timely and accurate management reports, including P&L analysis, cash flow, and variance reporting.Collaborate with regional and global finance teams to ensure alignment in reporting and strategic initiatives.Manage relationships with external auditors, tax consultants, and local government bodies for statutory filings and compliance matters.Drive cost control, margin improvement, and process optimization initiatives.Support commercial and contract reviews, pricing decisions, and tender evaluations from a financial standpoint.Oversee day-to-day finance operations, including accounting, AP/AR, and treasury functions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.Minimum of 8 years’ experience in finance or accounting, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.Experience in a multinational environment, preferably within industrial, engineering, or manufacturing sectors.Strong business acumen and proven ability to support commercial decision-making.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.Proficient in financial software and tools; SAP experience is a strong advantage.Strong command of English and Thai (written and spoken).A self-starter who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
