Job Description SummaryThe Imaging Business purchases over $2B of raw materials annually from approximately 1,110 suppliers. As the largest component of operating expenses (around 35% of sales), this presents a significant opportunity to support identification of cost productivity and reduce the margin gap with competitors.

This internship role will provide foundational finance support to the Imaging VCP and Sourcing Leaders, contributing to cost optimization and project execution. The intern will gain exposure to key financial processes, supply chain dynamics, and strategic sourcing initiatives. This is a learning opportunity designed to build analytical skills, business acumen, and cross-functional collaboration capabilities in a global healthcare environment.

Roles and Responsibilities

Support analysis of material, logistics, and labor spend to identify cost-saving opportunitiesAssist in preparing weekly and monthly financial reports and key performance indicators for VCP and Sourcing teamsHelp track project benefits and ensure alignment with financial forecastsParticipate in quarterly pacing and forecasting activities for productivity initiativesAssist in standard setting processes for material costsCollaborate with operating teams to support productivity tracking and reportingHelp maintain visibility into material purchase pricesPerform basic analytics on material availability and potential shortagesSupport sourcing strategy assessments and supplier analysisHelp with closing activities for purchase price variance and sourcing-related costsAssist in sourcing analytics and metric reporting (e.g., direct material deflation, AP days to pay)

Required Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fieldStrong interest in Supply Chain and Sourcing FinanceEagerness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced, global environment
