Danfoss in Ames, Iowa is looking for an Accounting Intern to support the Global Services (GS), North America Financial Shared Services Organization. The Finance Intern will perform General Ledger and Fixed Asset responsibilities including the preparation and processing of a variety of accounting documents and reports. The intern will work closely with local and regional Finance personnel to support a timely and accurate month-end close, while supporting other functions as needed.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Prepare a variety of accounting documents including general ledger entries, account reconciliations, financial analysis and reports Answer inquiries and provide other functional area employees and managers with timely and reliable information Support local and regional Finance personnel to ensure a timely month-end close Participate in annual fixed asset inventories for NAM facilities Support the Financial Shared Services organization as needed Background & Skills
