POSITION SUMMARY:  

Build your finance skills and gain practical, hands-on experience in key areas of finance. As an intern, you will play an essential role in supporting our internal controls team, assisting with comprehensive internal controls testing, documentation, reporting, and contributing to key projects. Additionally, you will collaborate with our Strategic Pricing Manager to develop customer pricing analysis, modeling, and forecasting. 

This is a hybrid role based out of Novi, MI 

PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Internal Controls Support:  

Assist the Internal Controls team in evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls over financial reporting.  

Contribute to the preparation of workpapers and documentation to support testing activities. 

Customer Pricing and Modeling:  

Aid in the transition of commission and contract agreements to a new standardized template featuring updated branding, logo, terms, and conditions. Support the approval process in AgilePoint.  

Perform customer rebate analysis on forecasted sales using trend-based formulas, calculating total rebate values relative to incremental sales and contribution margin.  

Contribute to the execution phase of the price list simplification initiative. 

Special Projects:  

Engage in special project work as needed, providing valuable support to the team 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

Enrolled in a full-time, accredited college or university 

Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field  

Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA  

Current class standing: Junior or Senior 

Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel 

COMPETENCIES: 

Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously. 

Strong ability to prioritize tasks, adhere to deadlines, and work independently  

Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. 

Strong written and oral communication skills 

Excellent attention to detail
