Join our Finance & Customer Operations chapter as a Finance Enterprise Partner (FEP) and become a trusted thought partner to business stakeholders. We are seeking a finance professional with a passion for leveraging in-depth business understanding and financial acumen to drive strategic business outcomes. You will play a pivotal role in enabling informed, value-adding decisions that shape our commercial strategy. Your expertise will be instrumental in balancing resource allocation and ensuring financial targets are met, ultimately maximizing impact along the customer journey.
The Opportunity
As a FEP, you will leverage your in-depth business understanding combined with financial expertise to drive initiatives that are critical to delivering our commercial strategy. You will build networks across the organization to share best practices and co-create solutions that generate value for the affiliate, the enterprise and the customer. You will act as a trusted thought partner to business stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Collaborating with the business in a matrix-environment and supporting or co-leading touchpoints alongside the customer journey with an enterprise mindset.
Balancing resource allocation across competing priorities and providing advice on the financial implications of proposed business activities.
Acting as a key partner for developing a coherent affiliate commercial strategy as well as commercial business related processes such as business planning, opportunity prioritization and creative strategies for revenue generation.
Ensuring financials are on track to achieve targeted business results and metrics, or advising on deviations and corrective actions.
Participating in FEP communities in Roche network to learn, share, and implement best practices across markets.
Proposing and driving ideas for P&L improvement, contributing with insights to define sustainable commercial deals through risk evaluation, competitor analysis, and pricing strategies and monitoring internal and external business landscapes for trends and value-creation opportunities.
Who you are
You are an entrepreneurial finance professional with strong communication and negotiation skills, capable of influencing at all levels. You thrive in a dynamic, global, multicultural environment and possess an agile mindset, collaborating effectively across teams and chapters. Additionally, you have a:
Degree in Finance, Business Administration or related field is required. A Master's or MBA will be considered a plus.
You possess strong business and financial acumen, gained through progressive finance roles where you've demonstrated excellent finance and/or controlling skills, showing knowledge and expertise of the local healthcare system, market dynamic and competitor landscape.
You are able to navigate and thrive within large, complex, and networked organizations. You have ambition and potential to grow into a future finance leadership role, with an interest in future international mobility.
With exceptional communication skills, you are able to simplify complex financial topics for non-finance audiences and you demonstrate willingness to engage with customers and third parties.
With demonstrated ability to make empowered decisions within a cross-functional team setting, you show capability to lead indirectly within matrixed squad environments.
You are a system thinker, with proven ability to influence effectively at all levels, lead and enable change, and exhibit an entrepreneurial, commercial, and customer-centric mindset, coupled with a passion for delivering tangible value for customers, patients, and the business.
You are highly analytical and a data-driven decision-maker influencing better business decision-making. You are able to perform under pressure and within strict deadlines, working both independently and as a collaborative team member.
You are a communicative and open-minded team player with effective communication skills in English and Portuguese.
Familiarity with systems and programming, such as SAP and Tableau is a plus.
