The FP&AFinance Directoris responsible forproactively partnering with senior leadership, providing insightful analysis, challenge and influence to drive decisions and actions that improve the bottom line.This is acritical leadership rolethatenablesthe business to deliver the LEGO Retail Strategy and its financialobjectives!Success in this role meansenabling decision making that enhances performance. **Core responsibilities** + **Annual Strategic & Financial Planning Processes:** plan these processes across LEGO Retail, including the preparation and presentation of the various plans to senior leadership (including PLAN, Estimates, and Commercial Strategy). Challenge where necessary to ensure accountability of results across LRLT members and seek to optimise allocation of resources between channels (stores and LEGO.com) and regions (Americas, EMEA and China) to maximise sales and profit. + **Delivery of LEGO Retail Strategy:** work closely with the LRLT, the Markets and Channels (M&C) Finance team, and LEGO Retail Finance team to ensure that short-term plans synchronise effectively with the longer-term strategy. Lead the business in aligning the various functional plans (by channel and by region) and play a strategic role in prioritising initiatives and resources. + **Business Service Organisation Acceleration** : Lead partnership between LEGO Retail Finance and the Business Service Organization to deliver more seamless integration between the teams, working across multiple transformation workstreams to optimise processes and improve ways of working. + **Performance Management** : monitor business performance versus plans and identify risks and opportunities in a timely manner, track the progress of key programmes and projects, advising on potential ways to improve performance. + **Productivity** : drive and track initiatives to deliver the yearly cost saving target across all areas of LEGO Retail. + **Governance & Control** : identify control gaps and drive corrective action to ensure processes and systems are functioning effectively. + **Change programmes in Finance** : build new processes to solve sophisticated business problems and support the profitable growth and scalability of LEGO Retail and unlock business value; for example, the processes linked to managing our store workforce effectively). + **Finance leadership:** play a key position within the LEGO Retail Finance leadership team. + **Leader:** lead and develop a team of 6 members covering FP&A, overheads management and Internal Controls. **Play your part in our LEGO Retail team succeeding!** LEGO Retail is a global market group covering Direct-to-Consumer channels, includingour 200own and operated retailstoresin Americas,Europeand ChinaandourLEGO.com websiteacross 35 countries. It is one of the fastest growing and most profitable channels ofThe LEGO Groupand it isaglobalbusiness!TheLEGO Retailbusinessissupportedby the LEGO Retail Finance team, whichconsists of ~20 colleagues based across Europe,Americasand Asia. **Do you have what it takes ?** + Experienced in developing strategies, planning for business, completing plans, establishing performance indicators, and reporting results. + Confirmed experience across FP&A, Financial Controls and governance processes. + Skilled at creatively solving business problems to establish frameworks for supporting solutions, as well as to transform problems and challenges into transformation activities that will unlock business value; a track record of implementing/leading successful change programmes in finance. + Effective communicator with proven experience of managing commercial relationships and influencing senior decision makers. + Skilled in crafting diligent business & financial models for forecasting strategic priorities; adept at teaching skills to team. + Excellent at developing robust business & financial models allowing to forecast and track strategic priorities into financials; strong at sharing and driving best practice modelling skills across team members. + An eye for the detail, but equally comfortable operating at a strategic level. + Experience of managing a team and creating an environment where people can be at their best. + Experience within the Retail sector would be advantageous. \#EL - LI1 ​ ​ Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis.
