Job Summary
The Finance Director – Repair Solutions will provide strategic and operational financial leadership across our three key sites:• San Diego, USA (new state-of-the-art facility under construction)• Trollhättan, Sweden• Johor, MalaysiaLeading a team of three Site Finance Managers, this role will ensure strong governance, financial performance management, and support profitable growth through strategic decision-making.The Finance Director Repair Solutions is the senior financial executive for the Business Area. Acts as a strategic business partner to the SVP Repair Solutions and SVP Finance Business Line Engines. They set direction, financial strategy, provide projections, and prepare growth plans for the organization.
Job Responsibilities
+ Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for the Repair Solutions business
+ Consolidate budgets and strategic plans across all sites
+ Drive monthly performance reviews for Repair Solutions, Engines, and Melrose Group reporting
+ Partner with business leadership to enable profitable growth through financial insight and smart decision-making
+ Ensure robust governance and compliance with corporate policies and external regulations
+ Act as a key member of the Repair Solutions leadership team, contributing to business strategy and operational excellence
Job Qualifications
+ 10+ Years of finance/accounting experience with in manufacturing environment.
+ 5+ years of experience as senior finance leader, ideally within aerospace, manufacturing, or advanced technology sectors
+ Strong experience in multi-site, international finance management
+ Strategic thinker with hands-on leadership and decision-making skills
+ Excellent stakeholder management and ability to partner with executive leadership
+ Strong analytical skills, with experience in budget consolidation and financial planning
+ Willingness to travel internationally as required (25% - 50%)
