Finance Director - Azure AI Revenue

Furthermore, experience managing teams is a critical requirement. We are hiring a **Finance Director** **-Azure AI Revenue** who will be focused on our 3rd Party (3P) Azure AI portfolio. This portfolio includes Azure’s AI Infrastructure services, and AI partnerships including OpenAI and other AI model providers. This position would lead the team tasked with revenue planning and business health deliverables for these services. This individual will develop assertions triangulating between customer needs, competitive landscape, partner dynamics, value chain analysis, product roadmap, and financial evaluation. If you are passionate about Azure and AI, want to influence its growth, value partnerships, and enjoy working in a fun team environment, then come join us! **Responsibilities** + Support and leada finance team; provide coaching, develop talent, priority setting, and leadership forall team members + Lead 3P AzureAIrevenue planning and business health to support business model decision making processes + Lead financial assessment of 3P Azure AInew Stock Keeping Unit (SKU) launches and competitive landscape + Lead financial analysis to support build, buy, partner analysis that may lead to Mergers and Acquisition (M&A) and commercial partnerships + Lead the execution of annual business planning, forecasting, and monthly close processes for 3P Azure AI revenue. Completes analysis, modeling, and research to support preliminary and adjusted forecast cycles. Partners and solicits insight from business and commercial stakeholders. + Thought-leadership forAzure long-range planning, together with stakeholders across marketing and engineering teams, as well as other finance teams. Act as the growth agitation agent for the business + Collaborate with relevant groups frommarketing, business development, Research and Development (R&D), and partner sales teams to drive both organic& inorganic strategy setting and decision-making + Build and refine robust growth and decision support frameworks to drive partner & ecosystem success + Conducting financial and scenario analysis to ensure business and financial success of new programs and offers from a customer + revenue growth, profitability and usage perspective + Act as a culture champion driving continuous improvement & leading to “best place to work” environment + Drives the right tone from executive leadership and ensures strict adherence and understanding of Microsoft policies on risk and compliance. + Influences leadership to ensure compliance is a top priority and modeled throughout the organization. + Directs team and holds others accountable to ensure financial control processes, policies, instruments, and procedures are executed. + Guides team and encourages others to identify and share risks to compliance and take steps to mitigate. + Drives a compliant culture through actions and decisions to instill trust. Advocates, educates and promotes best practices and new developments. + Champions Microsoft privacy, security, and ethical standards. Advances key compliance initiatives. Other + Embody our culture and values **Qualifications** **Required/minimum qualifications:** + Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 8+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 10+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field + OR equivalent experience. + 1+ year(s) experience managing direct reports. **Additional or preferred qualifications:** + Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 12+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience OR Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 15+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience + OR equivalent experience. + 3+ years experience managing direct reports. + 5+ years experience in multinationals with multi-product/multi-segment finance roles. + 5+ years work experience in matrix-based organization. + 5+ years work experience in the technology or software industry. + Ability to lead and influence business partners through executive maturity and balanced self-awareness + People management experience with demonstrated excellence + Polished interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication skills + Demonstrated drive; ability to effectively manage multiple projects, have attention to detail, and work effectively under deadlines in a fast-paced environment + Ability to collaborate and be comfortable dealing with ambiguity, influencing across multiple complex organizations, creating effective business partnerships + Deep understanding of the technology industry, particularly in commercial public and private cloud services, business models and economics Financial Analysis M6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $130,900 - $277,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $165,600 - $303,600 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
