**Job Description**
**Overview:**
In this highly visible leadership role, you will play a critical role in establishing and leading a Center of Excellence (CoE) for Core Financial Processes and Spend Management. You will partner across finance and business operations to define, implement, and standardize key financial processes that improve transparency, efficiency, and effectiveness of global financial operations.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Lead the design and implementation of a Center of Excellence for core financial processes, driving best-in-class practices.
+ Define, harmonize, and scale key processes including spend management, forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
+ Work closely with finance leaders, functional customers, and corporate to align strategic objectives and streamline execution.
+ Establish and manage a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
+ Implement process improvement initiatives utilizing PPI (Practical Process Improvement) methodologies.
+ Develop governance, crucial metrics, and change management practices to uphold the sustainability and continuous advancement of the CoE.
+ Develop strong relationships across business units to ensure process adoption, alignment, and impact tracking.
**Education:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field required.
**Experience:**
+ 10+ years of progressive experience in finance with a track record of leading financial transformation or shared services initiatives.
+ 5+ years of experience in managing high-performing teams.
+ Proven experience in driving process improvement, establishing CoEs or shared services, and managing enterprise-wide finance initiatives.
+ Experience in life sciences, manufacturing, or similarly complex organizations is highly preferred.
**Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:**
+ Deep expertise in core financial processes including spend management and financial reporting.
+ Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to influence across a matrixed organization.
+ Proficiency in analytics tools.
+ Demonstrated ability to inspire change and build consensus in a global environment.
+ Strategic problem solver with hands-on ability to deliver results.
