Purpose of Role: As the Finance Director, responsibility will be the comprehensive oversight of the organization's financial operations and strategy for Weir Minerals in India. This role involves managing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to ensure the company's financial health and stability.
You will provide strategic financial guidance to the executive team, support decision-making processes, and ensure strong compliance with financial regulations and standards. Additionally, leading the finance team by fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the leadership team and senior managers to effectively develop budget proposals, facilitate access to project finance information, and ensure compliance with contracts and grants through accurate reporting.
Translate business strategy into actionable business plans with measurable targets.
Champion business planning and forecasting processes, including 5-year plans, annual budget and quarterly forecast for Minerals India, ensuring alignment with Division and Group Strategies.
Develop a strong pipeline of finance talent through effective talent development initiatives.
Comply with local, Divisional and Group financial policies and procedures through review and assessment and take appropriate action as required.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
Bachelors or Master's Degree in Accounting or Finance
Extensive experience in Finance, particularly within the Manufacturing sector, with a strong background in Costing and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).
Exceptional numeric and analytical abilities to interpret complex financial data and drive strategic decisions.
Proven leadership and management skills, with a track record of developing and leading high-performing finance teams.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
Proficiency in written and spoken English, with the ability to articulate financial concepts clearly and concisely.
Ability to manage a broad spectrum of tasks under pressure, ensuring timely and accurate delivery within agreed timescales.
Strong capability to handle multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously, driving them to successful completion.
