**In this role your responsibilities will be:**
+ **Internal Control Questionnaire Management** : You will be responsible for preparing for and addressing audit issues, ensuring that financial operations adhere to internal audit standards.
+ **Compliance with Dutch GAAP** : Ensure that the company's Profit and Loss statements and Balance Sheets meet Dutch generally accepted accounting principles.
+ **External Audit Preparation and Support** : Prepare detailed documentation and support the annual external audit process to facilitate auditors and safeguard audit compliance.
+ **ERP System Maintenance** : Maintain and ensure the integrity of the Oracle ERP system for finance, including updates to the Chart of Accounts and managing entries in the General Ledger and sub-ledgers.
+ **Ledger Reconciliations** : Conduct timely reconciliations of the Fixed Assets to ensure accuracy in financial reporting and balance confirmation.
+ **Payroll Control** : Run payroll processes, ensuring accurate processing and compliance with relevant regulations.
+ **Month-End Closing Support** : Assist with month-end closing activities including making accruals and verifying financial statements for accuracy and completeness.
+ **Reporting for Dutch Tax Authorities** : Accurate reporting to CBS (Statistics Netherlands) and Dutch tax authorities, ensuring compliance with national reporting standards.
+ **Tax Obligations Management** : Calculate taxes accurately and make timely payments, including turnover taxes, payroll tax, and corporation tax.
+ **Cost Management** : Use cost center reporting for proactive cost management, finding opportunities for cost savings and efficiencies.
+ **Inventory Controls** : Implement inventory control measures, reviewing variances, and handling issues related to scrap, slow-moving, and obsolete inventory.

**For this role you will need:**
Overall, this role requires a high level of expertise in financial operations, accounting principles, audit processes, and regulatory requirements, particularly within the Dutch regulatory context.
+ At least 3 years of proven experience in Accounting or Financial Controlling, preferably working within an international (industrial) company
+ Fluent Dutch and English language skills; verbal, reading and writing
+ Strong analytical skills, with a high level of attention to detail
+ Excellent computer skills (Business Systems Oracle, MS Office, with expertise in Excel, Access, HFM, etc.)
+ Two independently verifiable references of previous employment and an official certificate of good conduct (VOG)
