Job Title: Finance Consultant
Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Finance Consultant to lead the optimization and enhancement of our financial planning and analysis (FP&A) system, Planful. This role involves working closely with finance, IT, and business stakeholders to realign Planful's capabilities with our organizational goals, improve its usability, and ensure long-term success.

ResponsibilitiesAssess the current state of the failed Planful implementation and identify root causes.Execute a roadmap for upgrading and optimizing Planful functionality.Collaborate with finance, IT, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and align Planful capabilities with organizational goals.Redesign workflows, templates, and reporting structures within Planful to improve usability and performance.Provide hands-on configuration and functional support for Planful modules including budgeting, forecasting, and financial consolidation.Train end-users and develop documentation to support adoption and long-term success.Benchmark Planful capabilities against other FP&A tools (e.g., Anaplan, Vena, Board, Prophix, Datarails) to recommend best practices and enhancements.Essential SkillsExperience with FP&A tools and processes.Strong skills in budgeting, forecasting, and financial consolidation.Proficiency in financial analysis, reporting, and modeling.Experience with Ajera and Sage Intacct.Additional Skills & QualificationsPlanful Academy certification or equivalent credentials.Experience working with enterprise clients or consulting firms on financial systems transformation.Experience with Sage Intacct or similar cloud-based financial management systems.Work Environment

This is a remote position, providing flexibility to work from anywhere while collaborating with a dynamic team across various departments.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $110.00/hr.
