We are searching for the best talent for **Finance Co-Op** to be in **Gurabo, PR** .
+ The typical Co-op term is from January, 2026 to January, 2027
+ Full time requirement (40 hours per week)
**Purpose:**
The incumbent is responsible to make significant improvements in the assigned areas using best practices and methodologies (Lean/Six Sigma). This includes the execution of projects, coaching belts and contributing to the continuous improvement environment promote lean culture. Work in conjunction with operations, support groups and transactional areas to reduce cost, reduce inventory and create flow aligning to customer demand by eliminating non-value added activities. Develop current and future state value stream mapping (VSM) for the assigned areas, prioritized job jar and track progress of projects execution plan. Support the organizational and the Business Excellence group in any initiative to improve processes through; kaizen teams, 6S, dashboards, scorecards, visual aids, standard works, checklists, time studies etc. the incumbent candidate should be able to communicate properly and influence others.
**You will be responsible for:**
**1. Financial Data & Systems Support**
+ Assist in updates and maintenance of finance systems and master data.
+ Support monthly and quarterly closing activities with data collection and reconciliation.
+ Help review sales and expense variations versus budget, understanding the key factors influencing performance.
+ Contribute to the preparation of financial reports and analysis to support decision-making.
**2. Analytical Support & Process Improvement**
+ Assist in creating dashboards, reports, and presentations using Excel and PowerPoint.
+ Support scenario analysis and financial trend review to help prioritize business actions.
+ Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and automation.
**3. Compliance & Data Management**
+ Ensure compliance with Johnson & Johnson’s financial policies, healthcare regulations, and local laws.
+ Support data accuracy and completeness within SAP and other financial tools.
+ Contribute to documentation for internal controls and audit preparations.
**4. Collaboration & Learning**
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Marketing, and Operations
+ Get involved in regional or cross-sector projects to understand broader business dynamics.
+ Seek continuous learning and development opportunities within the finance team.
**Qualifications / Requirements:**
+ Completion of Undergraduate Freshman year at accredited University is required.
+ Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related fields.
+ Minimum GPA of 2.8 is required.
+ Basic understanding of finance, budgeting, and data analysis.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint is required; General accounting, cost analysis, project/benefit management, SAP, SQL, financial and data visualization tools is a plus.
+ Strong analytical attitude, attention to detail, and proactive mindset.
+ Fluent in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
+ Eager to learn, adaptable, and team-oriented.
+ Permanently authorized to work in the U.S., must not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future. Students currently on CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT usually requires future sponsorship for long term employment and do not meet the requirements for this program unless eligible for an alternative long-term status that does not require company sponsorship.
