Job Description:

Job Purpose/Overview

Key in contributing to a High Performing Factory operations through financial analysis and insights, financial shaping and decision making and strategic development.  Primary focus (but not limited to) overall factory P&L (primes, manufacturing conversion & manufacturing overheads ) as well as planning and cost of goods reduction through Value leadership program.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as a factory finance co-pilot calculating, analysing and reporting period end results for primes (R&P), manufacturing conversion costs (MCCs), local logistics costs (LCCs) (excluding market logistics), affiliate sales and accurate reporting within FPPS (brand profitability), SAP and various other business reports.

Active participant and finance representative of Site Leadership Team, displaying curiosity while analysing issues and opportunities, driving results and leading the local Value leadership program and COGS transformation program- reporting and helping in prioritising initatives.

Collating, analysing and reporting forecasts into the regional supply team, including periodic S&OP+ metric (input into regional Step 3), annual planning process and product costing standards.

Collation of quarterly Transfer Prices, including affiliate presentation and queries.

Supporting with local capital projects, including assessment of project feasibility, accuracy of financial reporting, management of spend, governance of controls and identification of asset impairments.

Oversee local cost of goods sold (COGS) agenda and support local SOG on major projects to ensure financial delivery of the COGS target (excluding mix).

Ensure financial reconciliation and tracking of COGS saving initiatives to the P&L.

Ad Hoc analysis/tasks/reporting for various stakeholders within S&F and Supply.

Context and Scope

A value adding business partner and co-pilot to the local supply & supply chain [SoG] teams, the role is responsible for (but not limited to) reporting, planning and accounting for primes (R&P),  manufacturing Conversion costs.

Job Specifications/Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting or related

CPA/CIMA Qualified

Advanced computer skills, with emphasis on reporting software programs SAP

Minimum of 7-8 years in supply finance operations management experience in a large manufacturing environment

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Strong co-piloting capability and experience

Strong influencing and negotiation skills

Strong task and workflow management
