This role gives the Finance Business Partner responsibility for maintaining the company’s financial statements, management reporting, and financial controls. Success in the role depends on your ability to partner with Senior Management, provide accurate financial data that supports business needs, and report company results under required reporting standards.

What the day will look like:
Finance Business Partnering and FP&A
+ Take responsibility for forecasting, planning, and conducting business analysis
+ Preparing and presenting the monthly forecast updates to Senior Management on the company’s position relative to budget/forecast
+ Managing the annual budgeting process, including the design of templates and the critical review of planning assumptions
+ Provide relevant and accurate financial analysis and updates on Revenue of dedicated departments
+ Partnering with the Country Senior leadership and other teams to deliver analysis and insights to influence the business and drive financial performance
+ Supporting the financial review of key initiatives focused on driving business performance, incl. Profitability, Revenue analysis, Staff Costs review
Controllership, Statutory Financial Reporting and Compliance
+ Overall responsibility of all finance activities for dedicated business units
+ Supporting the day-to-day, monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing process and all controllership related activities
+ Produce high quality and accurate submissions of financial information to Region/Group head office
+ Managing of the annual statutory audit process (incl. liaison with auditors, preparation of Financial Statements under IFRS standards)
+ Managing the cash flow, treasury, account payables and account receivables processes
+ Overseeing reporting process to local authorities, regulators and tax authorities
+ Day-to-day co-operation with local business and other accounting teams
+ Preparing documents for the Board Meetings and additional ad hoc financial disclosures and reports
Skills and experience that will lead to success:
+ Previous experience partnering with business/operations
+ Minimum of 5 years’ accounting experience, with strong knowledge of Controllership and FP&A area
+ Professional accounting qualification would be a plus
+ Knowledge of financial technical accounting (IFRS, US GAAP)
+ Fluency in English
+ TM1, Workday skills would be an advantage
+ Excellent knowledge of MS Excel
+ An ability to continually seek to improve
+ Strong communication and organization skills
+ Ability to organize and analyze large volumes of data, perform data reconciliations and present clear and concise analysis to senior executives
+ Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, under tight deadlines
+ Ability and willingness to adjust working hours when required to meet tight reporting deadlines
