Job Description

As Workforce Planning and Accounting Manager at Informa Festivals, you'll play a vital role in our new, rapidly growing division. You'll work directly with senior finance leaders to provide crucial workforce insights that drive our strategic goals.

What you'll do

Lead our workforce planning by maintaining headcount forecasts and providing data-led insights to leadershipPartner with finance teams across the business to gather timely data inputsDeliver monthly financial reporting to CFOs, including cost analysis and board-ready contentManage payroll accounting processes, ensuring accurate journal entries and reconciliationsRun capitalization models for internal projects and explain variances to leadershipPrepare and post Group Recharge models monthlySupport financial planning for annual budgets, three-year plans, and monthly forecastsCalculate monthly bonus accruals and support HR during the annual bonus cycleEnsure consistency in accounting and forecasting for project-related costsChampion risk management by implementing appropriate controls in all work

A typical day might include

Analysing workforce data to identify trends and opportunitiesCreating clear financial reports that tell a story with numbersCollaborating with finance colleagues to resolve complex accounting issuesBuilding models that provide actionable insights for decision-makers

Qualifications

 

Qualified accountant with proven experience in financial analysisStrong Excel and PowerPoint skills to build models and communicate key messagesProblem-solving ability with intellectual curiosityExcellent organizational skills to manage multiple prioritiesExperience with Essbase, Hyperion Planning or TM1 would be beneficialAbility to work independently while building collaborative relationships
