We are seeking a Finance Business Partner for the Pumps Business Line (BL) to support and drive superior business performance by providing financial insights and recommendations to the BL head and management team. Key to success in this role is to understand and manage end-to-end processes, from sales and purchase to operation and manufacturing, to deliver from a financial viewpoint. Responsibilities include standardized BL strategy, annual planning, monthly reporting and analysis, as well as ad hoc analysis, BL investment management and NWC management, development activities, and general management activities for the BL. The Finance Business Partner will provide the head of Pump BL with business analysis to facilitate business decisions. This position will proactively identify, take up, and follow through implementation of necessary actions related to the business lines' overall financial performance. This role will report directly to the VP of Consumables Finance, and in matrix to the head of the Pumps BL.
What you'll do
Act as a strategic finance partner to the Pumps BL management team, delivering insights and analysis to support decision-making across key initiatives. Lead monthly financial close activities, including performance analysis, discrepancy identification, and coordination of corrections. Prepare and present monthly financial results to BL and Business Area (BA) management, ensuring follow-up on assigned actions. Manage and update Pumps BL Power BI dashboards and reports used by leadership. Support the annual strategic planning process by collecting critical data from MA and product group leaders. Contribute to strategic initiatives such as M&A, new business model development, supply chain optimization, and major investment evaluations. Coordinate the annual financial planning cycle, including stakeholder alignment meetings, cost center planning, investment reviews, and balance sheet forecasting. Assist in preparing related presentations. Resolve intercompany issues, oversee cost allocations, and ensure adherence to pricing policies. Represent the BL in quarterly global logistics reviews, providing financial insights to guide stocking policy decisions. Lead the Pump Finance team, overseeing compensation planning, performance target setting, and professional development.
Who you are
Recognised degree in finance or engineering. Minimum of 5 years’ relevant work experience in a multinational company; experience from a manufacturing environment is a plus. Strong data analytical capabilities to identify opportunities, risks, and support in building actions. Proven problem-solving skills in a matrix organization and the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines. Strategic thinking and a structured, target-driven way of working. Able to work under pressure and prioritize and influence without direct authority. Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English. Good SAP skills and preferably previous experience from Onestream and Power BI. Ability to travel internationally.
