The incumbent will be required to make a telework arrangement with their supervisor. The incumbent will be expected to work in the office as determined by policy and discussion with their supervisor. In this position, you will: + Perform business analysis in partnership with stakeholders to document the structure, policies, and operations of a process, application, or problem and recommend solutions or changes. Gather requirements related to the process, application, or problem. + Manage small or simple projects for the office which will implement financial-related systems, processes, or standards. + Perform quality control and assurance activities in response to business process or system upgrades or implementations. ** The Minnesota Department of Transportation does not sponsor applicants for work visas or Optional Practical Training Extensions for STEM Students. Individuals must be legally authorized to work in the US at the start of employment. **Minimum Qualifications** Three years of professional business systems analysis experience that demonstrates. + Experience with large complex computer systems such as enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems assessing system functionality and providing consultation on system implementations or upgrades. + Experience writing technical documents such as system procedures, processes, training materials or business documentation for end users. + Experience researching, analyzing, and consulting on business processes and best practices. + Knowledge and application of business analysis approaches, methodologies, and concepts. A bachelor's or master’s degree in business, project management, or computer information systems may substitute for one year of professional experience. **Preferred Qualifications** + Project Management Professional Certification. + Knowledge of quality assurance theory and principles. + Knowledge of Agile and Lean or other continuous improvement methodologies. **Additional Requirements** **Successful candidate must pass past-employer reference checks and criminal history check** It is our policy that all candidates submit to a background investigation prior to employment.
