Job Description Summary

The Finance Associate Director is responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of finance operations for the Philippines entities, including financial reporting, statutory compliance, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls. This role supports strategic decision-making by providing financial insights and ensures alignment with corporate policies and regulatory standards. The position also leads a finance team based in the Philippines and collaborates closely with regional and global stakeholders.

About the Role:

Financial Reporting & Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate financial statements and reports in line with IFRS/local GAAP, US GAAP, SOX, and SEC requirements; lead tax compliance and treasury management for Philippine entities.Audit & Risk Management: Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to risk and compliance standards and achieving clean audit outcomes.Controllership & Operational Oversight: Provide financial oversight across all service lines, conduct balance sheet reviews, manage cost allocations, and strengthen internal controls.Strategic Planning & Business Partnering: Lead the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), conduct performance reviews with leadership, monitor KPIs, support revenue recognition, and drive change initiatives.Leadership & Team Development: Mentor and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

About You:

Education & Certification: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification in the Philippines is required. A Master’s degree is preferred.Professional Experience: At least 15 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or audit, with exposure to shared services or multinational environments.Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, tax regulations, treasury operations, and financial planning; experience with audits and regulatory compliance.Systems & Tools Proficiency: Skilled in ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday) and advanced Excel; strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.Leadership & Soft Skills: Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration skills; proven leadership with integrity, adaptability, and emotional intelligence.
