We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Associate to join our Argentina Finance Team. This role supports day-to-day finance operations, with a focus on tax outsourcing coordination, banking operations, and account reconciliations. The ideal candidate will apply basic financial principles, take ownership of assigned tasks, and work with limited supervision to meet operational goals. This position is suitable for someone with a strong interest in finance operations, who is comfortable working in a dynamic and collaborative environment, and is either pursuing or planning to pursue a professional finance qualification. **Responsibilities - You will do:** + Coordinate and maintain communication with our external tax outsourcing provider, ensuring accurate and timely submission of tax filings. + Manage daily banking operations including payments, bank reconciliations, and cash management support. + Perform monthly account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies. + Support monthly and quarterly close processes by preparing journal entries and reports as required. + Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations. + Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by proposing and helping to implement new procedures or automation. + Collaborate with other team members to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with internal controls. + Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records. **Skills & Qualifications - You will have:** + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or currently in the final year of studies. + Solid understanding of basic accounting and financial principles. + Knowledgewith bank operations and reconciliations. + Strong organizational and communication skills. + Ability to work independently with limited supervision, and to take initiative in solving problems. + English proficiency (Written) **A PLUS:** + Excel skills; experience with ERP systems (e.g. Oracle, SAP). **AVEVA requires all successful applicants to undergo and pass a comprehensive background check before they start employment.
