The main duties and responsibilities of this role include: + Process and verify all incoming invoices for accuracy and proper documentation. + Ensure timely payment of vendor invoices in accordance with company policies. + Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or payment issues. + Maintain up-to-date records of all accounts payable transactions. + Assist with month-end closing processes and reporting. + Work closely with purchasing and receiving departments to verify deliveries and approvals. + Monitor and maintain accurate aging reports. + Ensure compliance with tax regulations and internal controls. + To assist in all other tasks assigned by AFC or DOF. + Support audits by providing required documentation and reports. + General Cashier: + Manage daily cash operations, including receiving, counting, and reconciling cash and payments. + Prepare and make bank deposits. + Maintain accurate records of all cash transactions and prepare daily cash reports. + Handle petty cash fund and process reimbursements. + Ensure compliance with cash handling procedures and security protocols. **About You:** The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications: + Qualification in Accounting, Finance, or related field. + Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable, preferably in the hospitality industry. + Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Oracle Fusion, Sun Systems, ADACO or similar ERP systems). + Strong attention to detail and accuracy. + Excellent organizational and communication skills. + Knowledge of local tax laws and accounting principles. + Must be enthusiastic to work with multi-nationality. **About the Benefits:** At Jumeirah, we are dedicated to fostering a vibrant community where colleagues feel valued, supported, and inspired to grow.
