Finance Assistant
Job Title: Finance Assistant Reports to: Finance Manager Job Purpose The Finance Assistant role is an integral part of the finance function, working closely with the local Finance Team to provide accurate and timely financial information, whilst maintaining robust and effective internal controls. Role Responsibilities * Act as the primary point of contact between the outsourced AP/AR transactional processing team. This will include, but is not limited to: * Supporting the credit control process and cash allocation; * Ensure supplier invoice processing and payments happen in a timely manner. * Complete accountability of the preparation of key financial processes, in line with stringent deadlines set out by Global SW finance function: * Accruals and Prepayments; * Journals preparation and postings; * Update and maintain inventory records; * Update and maintain fixed asset records; * Monthly account reconciliations * Preparation of reports including sales and production volumes * Assist in the accurate and timely preparation of financial information including tax returns and Government Statistics * Assist in the preparation of weekly payroll and monthly payroll and any other related activities * Ensure that internal controls are complete, robust, and effective in order to safeguard company assets. * Support the finance function during times of team members\u2019 absence (e.g., annual leave). * To be a willing and flexible team member ready to take on new and expanding tasks as appropriate.
