Finance and SOX Manager

As a Finance and SOX Manager here at Honeywell, you will be\naccountable for ensuring compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) and\nmaintaining the integrity of our financial controls. You will play a crucial\nrole in identifying and mitigating financial risks, Business planning and\nconsolidation, FI/CO, as well as implementing and monitoring internal controls\nto ensure compliance with SOX regulations. You will report directly to our IT\nDirector and you'll work out of our Morris Plains, NJ on a hybrid work\nschedule. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant\nimpact by:

- Conducting risk assessments and evaluating the\neffectiveness of internal controls
- Developing and implementing SOX compliance programs and\nprocedures
- Performing testing\nand monitoring of financial controls
- Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC), and FI/CO\n(Finance and Controlling) and FSCM
- Financial planning tools (CO-PA), budgeting and\nforecasting software, and other financial applications
- Identifying control\ndeficiencies and recommending corrective actions
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure\ncompliance with SOX requirements
- Providing guidance\nand training to employees on SOX compliance

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Conducting risk assessments and evaluating the\neffectiveness of internal controls

• Identifying control\ndeficiencies and recommending corrective actions
• Working with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance\nwith SOX requirements
• Providing guidance and training to employees on SOX\ncompliance

YOU MUST HAVE
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related\nfield
• Experience in the Finance Domain and related SAP\ncapabilities, including but not limited to: Financial Accounting, Product\nCosting, Controlling, General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables,\nFSCM – Collections and Dispute Management, and Asset Accounting
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in finance or accounting
• Strong knowledge of SOX regulations and requirements
• Excellent thoughtful and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail\nand ability to work self-reliantly
• Strong\ncommunication and people-oriented skills

WE VALUE
• Relevant certifications such as Certified Public\nAccountant (CPA) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)
• Experience in a\nmultinational organization
• S/4 HANA is a plus
• Knowledge of SAP or\nother financial systems
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Strong project management skills

This position is intended to convey to the new, independent company, to be named Solstice Advanced Materials when the separation occurs.  This is expected to occur in late 2025 or early 2026.
