Key Responsibilities:

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Support timely payments of suppliers and staff by securing approvals on time(box or Omniplus platform);Support proper filing system for all financial transactions in place;Record and file all correspondences for easy consultation in case of need;Support in recording OVs in omniplus platform and ensure proof of payment is attached on the document before filling;Facilitate timely VAT claim process;Record all deposits for VAT reimbursed;Prepare and share the monthly status of VAT claim Vs VAT reimbursed;Prepare monthly tax payable to the government;Assist the finance department to organize weekly departmental meeting; devotions, team buildings and other events as appropriate;Take and file minutes for departmental meetingsSupport any other meeting organize by finance in or out of the office;Facilitate internal and external audits and ensure timely submission required documents;Work on department supplies as appropriatePromote and practice transparency and integrity for stewardship of resources;Perform any other duty as assigned by the line manage /head of department.

KNOWLEDGE AND QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance or Business Administration or related field;A minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or administrative role;A minimum of 2 years of experience in VAT claim process;Understanding of, and demonstrating experience with filing system, collaboration with bank institutions and other stakeholders; understanding of internal controls will be an advantage;Proficiency with Excel as a tool for data input;Excellent cross-cultural communicationSolid knowledge of finance and administrative functions;Ability to solve complex problems and to exercise independent judgment;Able to work on a cross-cultural environment with a multi-national staff; Proficiency in written and spoken French, English added advantage.
