Finance Analyst Sr

This role will perform general accounting and finance functions, preparation and review of account reconciliations, journal entries, chart of account maintenance, and various month-end reports for multiple assigned areas. There will be involvement and oversight of the monthly close process, and period-end analysis. The Senior Finance Analyst will process business transactions in various areas throughout the Finance function. **YOUR IMPACT** These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive, and other duties may be assigned. + Analyze and prepare monthly results for management, including various deliverables required for reporting purposes. + Responsible for monthly close process for assigned areas and business units, which may include preparation or review of journal entries, account reconciliation and review monthly financial reporting package. + Assist in the management and administration of business systems and procedures; validate the effectiveness of new procedures and business processes, and update Sarbanes-Oxley process documentation for changes affecting internal controls. + Interact with other departments, Shared Services, and Corporate to solve business issues. + Monitor and track key operational benchmarks; perform root cause analysis and develop actions plans as needed. + Champion the Oshkosh People First competencies to engage, develop, and connect team members. + Identify key functions and processes to support continuous improvement projects. + Supervise, train and develop 2-3 individuals in the Roy UT based Accounting Department . + Assist with budget and forecast analysis, periodic variance review/research, updating periodic reports, etc. + Monitor the fixed asset accounting function, including depreciation, additions, disposals and coordination of functions with HQ and Sage ledger. + Assist with all internal and external financial audits. **MINIMUM** **QUALIFICATIONS:** + Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration. + Four (4) or more years of related experience in accounting, finance, or treasury. + Ability to travel 10%. **STANDOUT** **QUALIFICATIONS:** + High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint. + CPA/CPA Eligible + Competency with GAAP, working knowledge of ASC 606 and 842 + Strong verbal and written communication skills. + Ability to maintain flexibility with changes in technology, procedures, responsibilities + Resourceful, highly motivated, desire to continue learning **Pay Range:** $82,000.00 - $132,800.00 The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
