Key Responsibilities:
JOB PURPOSE
This role is a grants data management and financial analysis specialist who ensures accurate, synchronized grants information across World Vision's financial systems (Horizon, PBAS, Datawarehouse). The position combines data stewardship with financial analysis and automated reporting to support strategic decisions, compliance, and stakeholder reporting.
Working with teams across global, regional, and field offices, the analyst maintains a single source of truth for grants data while developing financial reports and performing detailed grant analysis to identify risks and compliance issues.
Key responsibilities include automating GGPF reports to improve team accuracy and efficiency, conducting comprehensive grants analysis, monitoring compliance, managing risks, and validating labor distribution using technical and financial expertise in accordance with grants policies and standards.
MAJOR REPONSIBILITIES
Financial Analysis & Reporting
Prepare and analyze the financial reports for various stakeholders; includes but not limited to:
Burn rateQuarterly grant reports for GAMGFS ScorecardsCompliance and Risk Management reportsGrant support cost varianceGrant Health Tracker (GHT)Other monthly & quarterly reports and analysisMonitor and track implementation of grant audit findings and recommendations; and provide report of key trends to be followed up with offices.
Continue to support and provide guidance to Disaster Mgt. Team for data related inquiries, feedback and validation.
Automated Reporting & Analysis Development
Design and develop automated reporting and analysis templates for grants financial and compliance reports. This includes but is not limited to the following:
Donor report templateGrants financial reports - burn rates, cost recovery, global fund, GHT, etc.Compliance reports – labour distribution report analysis, screening, auditUtilize AI applications to automate financial analysis, identify patterns and enhance reporting accuracyContinuously improve the analysis tools templates to enable accurate and efficient reporting and analysis of grants information.
Labour Distribution Report (LDR) Validation & Reporting
Work with Field Offices and Workday Operations Team to validate the accuracy of Labour Distribution Reports (LDR) and LDR data in Workday. Ensure and validate that there is no duplicate information in the LDR database.
Data Management & System Integration
Ensure that Horizon data are updated, complete and in sync with other World Vision Systems including but not limited to Horizon, PBAS, and OLAP. This involves coordinating with SOs, FOs & GFS.
Review and analyze entries done in Horizon, PBAS and OLAP. Prepare the data analysis to reconcile and in sync all the data information with WV financial system.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE
Minimum 4-6 years of experience preferably in an international NGO environment, multilateral organization or an international audit/accounting environmentAt least 2 years of working experience with grants accounting and analysisMinimum 6 months – 1 year experience working or supporting people offshoreHas experience in working with people from different levels and functions in the organizationHas extensive experience in preparing and analysing accounting and financial reports for internal and external clientsAdvance Microsoft applications skills and knowledge, including Power Pivot and Power BI.Knowledge and experience in using AI (Artificial Intelligence) applications for financial modelling, analytics and automated reporting.Applicant Types Accepted:
