The Finance Analyst position within the US Defence Finance organization plays a vital role in guiding the team through key financial reporting and analysis. The successful candidate will be part of a high performing, passionate, and supportive Finance team. You will provide key insights and analysis to drive financial performance and the delivery of critical business initiatives.

What you will be doing

With this attractive opportunity you will get a chance to:

Support month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations and analysisReporting on total Defence accounts to maximize Defence deliverables and prioritiesProviding process improvement opportunities on current processes that have many manual stepsEnsuring current processes are documented and in line with group requirements & policiesSupport other areas within Defence finance as needed and cross-train

Basic Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with at least 0+ years relevant experience;Master’s degree; ORJD/PhDIn order to be considered for this position you must be a U.S. Citizen

Preferred Requirements:

The ideal candidate should have a familiarity with financial reporting, solid understanding of basic accounting principles, as well as strong communication and organizational skills.Experience with Microsoft applications, specifically Excel and PPTDemonstrate how to identify a problemDemonstrate written and oral communication to a variety of audiencesDetailed Orientated
