About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our finance team until 31st March 2025 on a fixed term contract basis as a Finance Assistant. We are looking for a methodical individual who has a high attention to detail to support us in our Order to Cash team in preparation for transition to SAP S4 HANA, Finance ERP system.
Key responsibilities
Working in Order to Cash, who sit within the wider finance team and will be reporting into the Finance Manager. Order to Cash are responsible for Billing, Collections, Credit management and Bank reconciliation activities for Boots UK, No7 Beauty Company and connected entities.
This role will be critical to the success of our systems upgrade so this is an exciting opportunity to be involved in working as part of a wider team in a major transformation project.
Key responsibilities of the role:
· Building relationships with our internal and external customers
· Collecting payments for overdue invoices
· Resolving queries
· Performing balance sheet reconciliations
· Responsible for performing control checks and auditing data
· Working to deadlines with a key focus on month end deliverables
· Ensure compliance with internal policies and relevant financial regulations
· Prepare performance reporting and monitor performance metrics
· Process improvement
