Finance analyst

We are looking for a finance analyst to join our expanding company.  You will be part of a highly visible and interactive small team. This business focused role will support the flow of financial information to ensure accurate and robust reporting within the Spain & Portugal business units, providing insight on key performance indicators and identifying opportunities for continual process improvement.

Role responsibilities

Support in Monthly reviews of costs across the Iberia  businessSupport the reporting of Spain & Portugal revenue & cost & expense annual Plan and strategic planning financials, including assisting Finance Manager, with the preparation of the annual PlanSupport in preparation of operating review meetings, strategic planning review meetings and budget review meetings.Regular liaison with members of the Spain and Portugal Commercial Operations and Controlling and Business Units leadership team to provide insight into monthly risk / opportunity analysis and feed into monthly forecasting process.Monthly reviews of costs across the Iberia  businessAssume responsibilities for any other related departmental ad-hoc requests and Business Unit finance projects.Assist during meetings with cost center managers to discuss forecast and preliminary budgets. Highlight major concerns relating to forecasts or budget to immediate supervisor to seek guidance on how to proceed.Support the Operational Excellence program, which includes reporting on project profitability, offshoring & utilization, establishing regular and robust reporting cadence to key internal customers.

Essential skills experience and education required

Bachelor Degree in Economy or Business Administration and management.Knowledge of General Ledger accounting.Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.Experience of working in a dynamic and fast paced environmentStrong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work with individuals at all levels of the organisation.Ability to identify financial issues and execute mitigating actions.Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple work requirements to meet deadlines.Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and clients.Excellent organisational, time management and problem solving skills.Flexible team member, able to multi-task and cope with pressure of deadlinesIT literate, advance excel skillsGood analytical and numeracy skills.

SAP and Hyperion experience preferredFluent English
