WSP in the Middle East are hiring for a finance professional with strong experience in with a strong background in statutory reporting, taxation, and regulatory compliance within large multinational environments ideally in the engineering, consulting, or infrastructure sectors to join us in UAE. The ideal candidate will have exposure to the engineering, consulting, or infrastructure sectors, and will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with both local and international financial and tax regulations. **Statutory Reporting & Accounting Standards** Participate in the alignment with WSP’s global corporate accounting policies and drive consistency across regional entities. Collaborate in the preparation, review, and finalization of the statutory financial statements across ME countries in compliance with IFRS and local regulations. Keeps abreast of all regulatory changes impacting assigned countries/entities and assess business impact. **Taxation & Compliance** Support tax return preparation and filing, including Corporate Tax, Withholding Tax, and VAT returns across ME countries. Support transfer pricing compliance, economic substance reporting, and monitor evolving tax legislation across jurisdictions. + Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field; + CA/CPA/ACCA qualified or equivalent (preferred); + 3+ years ofexperience in statutory accounting, tax compliance, or audit (Big 4 experience preferred); + Strong knowledge of IFRS, UAE VAT, and corporate tax regulations. + Prior exposure to large multinational environments, ideally in the engineering, consulting, or infrastructure sectors. + Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Oracle. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
