About the Role

Ensure Financial Closing and Reporting is completed timely and in accordance with established accounting standard and AIA Group’s policy and requirement for Takaful.

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare manual journals for monthly closing;Responsible for accurate and timely submission of monthly/quarterly/yearly local statutory returns to regulators and other regulatory reporting requirements, including audited financial statements;Perform review on the variance analysis of the financial results pertaining to reporting to local management and statutory bodies;Identify and assist to implement initiatives to improve processes and collaborate across departments to ensure that initiatives are incorporated with sound financial controls whilst meeting business requirements;Perform other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by supervisor in order to meet operational and/or other requirements or on an ad-hoc basis; andAssist to attend or respond to enquiries/liaison with External Auditors, tax consultants, regulators and other statutory bodies.

Minimum Job Requirements

A recognized Degree in Accounting or Professional Accountancy Qualification, with at least 2 years of relevant working experience.Computer literate with proficiency in MS Excel and SAP are added advantage.Able to work under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.Analytical and good problem solving skills.Possess good interpersonal and communication skills.A good team player who is keen to learn.
