Final Inspector

Education:

High School diploma or GED

Skills and Abilities:

Use of various types of quality and precision measuring instruments  Ability to read and follow blueprints, job specifications, quality documentation. Basic understanding of addition, subtraction, multiplication and the division of numbers including decimal and fractions; simple use of formulas, charts tables, drawings, specifications, schedules, writing diagrams, computer scanning devices.

Experience:

1 year of related manufacturing inspection. Experience inspecting aerospace parts desired. 

Requirements:

​Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Salary

Starting salary $21.00 Shift differentials: 2nd shift/ $2.00, 3rd shift $3.00 - With the ability to train on 1st shift for several months if needed. Summary:

Position maintains quality standards by visually inspecting and approving incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products, recording quality results

 

Essential Functions:

Inspect materials according to the operation sheets Approves in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating required adjustments and rejected material that does not conform to Quality Standards. Approves finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work. Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work  Makes timely and accurate decisions when inspecting parts as this role can have a direct impact on production schedules. Report non-conformance issues as required.  Assist in resolutions for non-conforming material as determined by supervisor. Actively participate, promote and comply with all EHS programs & policies. Follow policies and procedures as outlined in Employee Handbook. Perform all other duties as assigned.
