Job Description:
Essential Duties Include:
+ Inspect products to verify conformance to customer specifications.
+ Complete Progress report - identify the job and the starting time
+ Review the Work Order for special instructions
+ Assure the set-up is correct for the job
+ Assure the station layout, tags and labels are appropriate for the job
+ Complete Sign-Off check list and have it signed by the appropriate person
+ Inspect parts - assure patents and margins are correct with no blotches
+ Perform hand manipulation when required - peeling waste off the part
+ Rework, repair, and replace damaged parts or assemblies.
+ Set and verify parts clearances.
+ Verify conformance of parts using measuring instruments such as punch box or templates.
+ Cut trim parts for assembly.
+ Examine completed workpieces for defects such as chipped edges and marred surfaces.
+ Set up, operate, or tend machines to slit or punch material.
+ Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
+ High School Diploma
+ Manufacturing experience is preferred.
Physical Demands:
+ This position involves sitting for long periods of time.
+ Lifting capability of up to 25-50 lbs.
+ Constant upper body movement, including use of arms and hands, bending and twisting.
