Description We are looking for a detail-oriented File Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Winston Salem, North Carolina. This role involves organizing, maintaining, and digitizing physical and electronic records to ensure seamless accessibility and secure storage. Ideal candidates are highly organized and capable of handling a variety of filing tasks efficiently. Responsibilities: • Sort and organize physical documents for accurate filing and easy retrieval. • Label and store file boxes systematically to maintain an orderly filing system. • Scan paper documents into digital formats while ensuring quality and accuracy. • Perform electronic filing of scanned documents into appropriate systems or folders. • Verify the accuracy of electronic and paper records to maintain consistency. • Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and adhere to data protection standards. • Assist in managing inventory of physical file boxes and supplies. • Collaborate with team members to streamline filing and documentation processes. • Troubleshoot minor issues with scanning equipment to ensure smooth operation. Requirements • Proven experience in filing or document management roles. • Proficiency in handling both physical and electronic filing systems. • Familiarity with scanning equipment and software. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. • Understanding of data privacy and confidentiality protocols. • Effective communication skills for team collaboration. • Physical ability to handle file boxes and repetitive tasks.
