FIFO Catering Managers | WA | 8:6

The Role 

Civeo Australia are looking for highly experienced FIFO Catering Managers (with a minimum Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or Chef Trade Certificate) to join our WA Operations on a full-time basis to assist in providing first-class service to our Camps based throughout our WA network. These roles are FIFO and working an 8:6 roster flying from Perth airport.

 Experience: 

Proven track record in Mine Site Catering, hotel or restaurant background or associated industry  Demonstrated successful staff management experience  At least 5 years’ experience in Chef Management in the service, hospitality or similar industry.  Experience in understanding and managing a Profit and Loss statement.  Experience in Menu development  Experience with ISO, HACCP and other relevant quality standards.  Highly developed negotiation skills with client relationship management and support  Proficient with Microsoft Office software including Excel.  A working knowledge of JDE and Triniteq, software desirable but not essential. 

 Skills and Knowledge Required: 

Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery or Chef Trade certificate (NVQ/City & Guilds accepted)  Applied knowledge of HACCP principles in a bulk cooking environment  Ability to create service schedules on a daily, weekly and monthly basis  Applied knowledge of workplace safety systems and compliance requirements  Intermediate skills with regards to Microsoft Office applications  Budgetary and analytical skills  Knowledge of relevant kitchen chemicals, including their application and storage.  You must have a valid drivers’ license (Class C).
