Field Territory Leader

**Responsibilities:**
**Ensure production targets are achieved in a timely, safe and cost efficient manner, all within the quality standard and in full alignment with company values.**
**The job entails: coordinating the daily field activities requirement from the field service provider.**
**Working with growers and local government leaders within the contract growing location for the production of hybrid seed corn.**
**Facilitate seed grower contracting with input from the Field Operations Leader, Legal and Finance departments.**
**Planning and securing field area requirements based on the volume plan for seed production; ensuring availability of resources (manpower, farm equipment and tools, facilities and raw materials) needed in the production of high quality hybrid seeds.**
**Ensure the accuracy in the implementation of sound agronomy management in planting, fertilizer application, irrigation, weed, insects and disease control for maximum yield level.**
**Ensuring Corteva quality standards of isolation, rouging and detasseling are implemented and met in close coordination with the Quality Assurance Leader.**
**Scheduling and controlling harvest flow in close coordination with the Plant Operations Leader or harvest coordinator.**
**Ensuring safe, effective and efficient management of field production processes in accordance to Corteva EHS&S policies and brand values.**
**Qualifications**
**Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, or related field.**
**3–5 years of experience in crop production, field operations, or agribusiness.**
**Strong leadership and coordination skills.**
**Familiarity with seed production processes and quality standards.**
**Ability to work with growers, government officials, and internal teams.**
**Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic data reporting**
**Working Conditions: Outdoor – Field: 80%; Indoor – Office: 20%**
