Job Description
This entry-level position is responsible for supporting engineers with technical projects and products. The role involves collecting, maintaining, organizing, compiling, and manipulating technical data. Responsibilities may include creating, building, assembling, modifying, and repairing prototypes, as well as preparing engineering documentation, reports, drawings, sketches, flow charts, diagrams, and schematics. The position requires performing mathematical calculations according to engineering specifications and analyzing data within provided guidelines. The role also involves recommending alternative solutions to problems and setting up and conducting tests to assist with engineering analysis.
ResponsibilitiesSupport engineers on technical projects and products.Collect, maintain, organize, compile, and manipulate technical data.Create, build, assemble, modify, and repair prototypes.Prepare engineering documentation, including reports, drawings, sketches, flow charts, diagrams, and schematics.Perform mathematical calculations per engineering specifications.Analyze data and recommend alternative solutions to problems.Set up and conduct tests to assist with engineering analysis.Essential SkillsBasic understanding of design, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks.Additional Skills & QualificationsAssociates or Bachelors degree in Engineering Technology or CAD Drafting/Design.High School diploma or equivalent required.Work Environment
The position operates under close supervision, performing routine aspects of scientific and engineering assignments. The role requires daily interaction with supervisors and functional peer groups, primarily involving the exchange or presentation of factual information. The role follows standard practices and procedures to analyze situations or data, and contributions are usually limited to assignment-related activities.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Atlanta, Georgia.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
