Job DescriptionWe are seeking four Field Technicians to support a critical infrastructure project for a major utility company.This project involves locating and marking underground high-pressure gas line test stations installed in the early 1990s.These test stations are located approximately every 700–800 feet along a pipeline stretching from Bangor, Maine to northern Massachusetts.ResponsibilitiesWork in a field team of three, consisting of 1 Lead Technician and 2 Team Technicians.Use specialized equipment to identify and locate underground test stations.Mark the identified locations accurately for future access and maintenance.Walk long distances daily across varied terrain to complete fieldwork.Carry and transport equipment necessary for the job.Maintain accurate records of completed work and report progress to supervisors.Essential SkillsComfortable with extensive walking and working outdoors in various weather conditions.Physically capable of carrying field equipment over long distances.Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical procedures.Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrevious experience in fieldwork, utility work, or outdoor labor is a plus.Ideal for individuals who enjoy hiking, outdoor activities, or have a background in park services or environmental work.No safety certification required, but candidates must have a valid driver's license and pass background and drug tests.Work EnvironmentThis role is 100% field-based.You will have access to a company vehicle and meet with your team every morning at a designated spot to start the day.Typically, one truck is parked at the start point, and another a few miles up the line, so you walk the distance without having to carry the equipment back.This position is perfect for someone who loves hiking and being in nature.While you will work in a team of three, you will not be working side by side constantly.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.
