Responsibilities
+ Achieves customer satisfaction through completion of calibration services within expected timeframes, as assigned by the customer, lead techs or supervisors.
+ Accurately enters data into a tracking database.
+ Creates calibration data sheets accurately and efficiently, with minimal supervision, based on instrument specifications and approved calibration procedures.
+ Completes all documentation supporting customer requirements, reporting, ISO, and other quality systems.
+ Interacts with customers for items requiring repair or limited calibration.
+ Applies acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks.
+ Perform calibrations; RF, PD & GP measurement
+ Creates datasheets.
+ Performs preventative maintenance.
+ Performs work at the customer location.
+ Adheres to quality management system policies and procedures in the performance of work.
+ Participation in Daily Scheduling, Visual Management Participation, Kaizen Participation, and Basic problem-solving.
+ Performs other laboratory support functions as required in an efficient and orderly manner.
Qualifications
+ Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of related experience
+ Excellent customer service skills
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills
+ Ability to work on assignments that are semi-routine in nature but recognize the occasional need to perform calibration by alternate, acceptable methods
+ Proficient with Windows, Microsoft Office, and Internet applications with an emphasis on Excel required
+ Ability to travel as needed for personal skill enhancement and training
+ Able to meet requirements to drive a company vehicle (Valid driver's license and clean driving record)
+ Capable of lifting (50 pounds) unassisted
Preferred:
+ College degree in Electronics 2 or 3 years program
+ Military Metrology/Calibration (PMEL or TMDE) training, an asset
+ Experience in equipment calibration in the following disciplines, an asset:
+ General Purpose
+ Physical Dimensional
+ Strong Electronics fundamentals
Mandatory Security Requirements:
+ CGP (Control Goods Program) security clearance
+ Reliability Security Clearance
