**Date Posted:** 2025-08-01 **Country:** Italy **Location:** CASSINA DE' PECCHI, Cassina De' Pecchi, Italy **Field Subcontracting Category manager – SEET** As the EMEA Subcontracting Category Leader, you will play a strategic role in managing field subcontracted services across the region. This includes installation of new equipment (elevators and escalators), maintenance, repairs, and other outsourced job site services. Your goal: optimize cost, quality, capacity, safety, and compliance while building strong, long-term partnerships with suppliers. **Key Responsibilities:** + Lead the subcontracting strategy across the assigned Operating Unit (OU). + Collaborate with EHS and field operations to ensure compliance with internal policies and global/local regulations. + Support the deployment of global subcontracting strategies and foster supplier synergies. + Challenge existing processes and propose innovative improvements. + Build and implement a robust subcontractor relationship management framework. + Coordinate sourcing plans for Major Projects and support strategic tenders (3–5 per year). + Drive the annual savings plan and project roadmap; monitor progress and corrective actions. + Define preferred supplier strategies and negotiate framework agreements. + Leverage digital tools and business intelligence to manage labor rates and pricing models. + Improve forecasting methods and introduce tools like e-auctions to secure capacity. + Contribute to the development and enforcement of field purchasing policies and standards. **Your Profile:** + Master’s degree with 7+ years of experience, or Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of experience in subcontracting procurement within the construction industry. + Strong experience in a global, matrixed environment with cross-functional leadership. + Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and a results-driven mindset. + Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills. + Fluent in English and Italian; other European languages (French, Spanish, German) are a plus. + Solid understanding of market trends, supplier landscape, and digital procurement tools + Travel requirements : 25–35% travel across the EMEA region **Location:** Cassina Dè Pecchi (Milan) **Local Benefits or Selling Statement** Permanent Contract Smart working (partial) PDR Welfare **_Apply today to join us and build what’s next!_** La ricerca è rivolta a candidature di entrambi i sessi, ai sensi delle leggi 903/77 e 125/91.
