📌 Position Title **Field Specialist – Field Services Support** _Corporate HR Specialist Posting_ 🧭 Role Overview As a Field Specialist, you’ll be the go-to expert for servicing and repairing advanced office equipment across a designated territory. You’ll provide second-level technical support, mentor fellow technicians, and collaborate with sales teams to identify upgrade opportunities. This role blends hands-on diagnostics with leadership, offering a path to influence team performance and customer satisfaction. 🔧 Key Responsibilities Technical Expertise & Repair Service and repair a core set of complex office products (B&W, color, multifunctional devices) Perform diagnostics, installations, removals, and retrofits Troubleshoot and replace components using fine-motor skills and electronic testing tools Maintain up-to-date digital competencies and complete assigned technical training Mentorship & Training Provide second-level technical support to other technicians Conduct on-the-job training and technical seminars Serve as a role model in professionalism and technical excellence Champion continuous improvement and team collaboration Territory & Inventory Management Manage assigned territory, including call handling and backup plans Maintain accurate car stock and parts inventory Collaborate with sales partners to identify equipment leads and upgrade opportunities Complete administrative tasks accurately and on time Customer Service & Communication Resolve complex customer issues with professionalism and empathy Act as a liaison for unresolved technical problems Build strong relationships with internal teams and external customers Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through responsive service 🎓 Qualifications Technical school completion and 3+ years of related experience (including 2+ years as a Technology Service Consultant I) At least one industry certification (required) Valid state driver’s license and auto insurance per company policy 🧠 Skills & Competencies Expert knowledge of electro-mechanical devices and assigned equipment Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and documentation High level of dexterity for working with small components and tools 🚗 Working Conditions Extensive daily travel by car or foot within assigned territory Exposure to minor cuts, burns, solvents, and cleaners Frequent lifting (up to 50 lbs), bending, kneeling, and stair climbing Occasional overtime, shift work, and on-call responsibilities Regular contact with dispatch, parts department, and Field Service Manager 🌟 Why Join Us This role offers the chance to lead by example, solve complex technical challenges, and make a tangible impact on customer satisfaction.
